I shared a few poems before here and here and I think it’s time I share a third. I actually have several poems, but it never feels like the right time to post them unless I push myself to do so or something else does. This time it’s a combination of the two since I’m doing a week of unfiltered content on Instagram and nothing is more unfiltered when it comes to me than my poems.
Here goes:
Thank you for reading. Be Kind. Be you.

January 12, 2019 at 10:32 pmI love that metaphor about moth fading into the night, very poetic. I also really like the ‘we are…’ parts, we are the words, we are the moments. Both stanzas are lovely and work perfectly together. This is a beautiful poem, thank you for sharing. I used to write poetry too.

January 13, 2019 at 2:52 amDid you write this yourself? I like it! It’s very pretty.. I am too insecure to share my poems and envy everyone that can share theirs lol!

January 16, 2019 at 4:25 amI did write this myself and I’m definitely very insecure about sharing my poems too. The first time I shared one, I couldn’t sleep the whole night after and I kept wondering if I should take it down. I didn’t and I’m glad. This time it was a little easier 🙂
