I’ve been thinking about doing a post/video like this for a while and I finally decided to just do it. After going through my previous posts, I pulled some of my favorite fall outfits and put them together in this post and video. I hope you like it 🙂

Plaid and Leopard

This one is a mix of prints. Here I’m pairing plaid and leopard since they both have neutral colors, but I think that they are still an unexpected combination.

 

 

 

 

Dress Down with Plaid

An easy way to dress down a more fancy dress is with a plaid shirt. Here I’m doing just that by dressing down my black lace dress.

 

 

 

 

A Sweater Dress

This is a very common outfit for me in the colder seasons. I find a sweater dress to be very cozy and if it’s a little simpler like this one, I can always dress it up with a statement necklace.

 

 

 

A Statement Skirt

I had to have this skirt from the first time I saw it, unfortunately it was much harder style than I thought it would be. I finally figured it out by pairing it with warm toned pieces to echo the warm print.

 

 

 

Knee-High Socks

Knee-high socks are another option to warm up a fall outfit. Here since my knee-high socks are white, I pairing them with a white top.

 

 

 

Cozy Statement Skirt

This is another outfit with a statement skirt. In this case I’m pairing my statement skirt with a cozy knit that echoes the light colors in the skirt and a cozy jacket.

 

 

 

Cropped Sweater and Dress

A good way to show more of your dress while still staying warm is to pair it with a cropped sweater. I kept this outfit cohesive by keeping everything within the gray color family.

 

 

 

Velvet Dress

Velvet is a great fabric to wear in the colder seasons. It’s warm and cozy and a great way to warm up a velvet dress even more while also spicing it up a bit is to pair it with a scarf.

 

 

 

 

Red Floral Dress

The red floral dress is the statement of this outfit. I’m echoing the black and white colors of the floral print by paring it with black and white pieces.

 

 

 

Plaid and Floral

Plaid and floral is another combination of prints that I really enjoy. I think that a bright floral print is a great way to dress up a more neutral plaid print. Here I’m doing that by dressing up my grey plaid top with floral leggings.

 

 

 

Monochrome Red

Monochrome outfits pretty much always work and you can really get creative with your textures and prints. Here I’m wearing a monochrome red outfit with a red scarf, burgundy sweater, red pants and boots.

 

 

 

 

Leopard and Light Blue

The leopard top in this outfit is quite dark so I decided to lighten it up a bit by pairing it with light denim. I then echo that with a light blue cardigan and echo the green in the top with a pair of dark green boots.

 

 

 

 

Graphic Tee and Printed Leggings

A graphic tee and printed leggings combination is great for a casual comfortable look. Here I’m lightening up the dark look a bit by wearing with a light cardigan.

 

 

 

 

Dark Denim and Mint

I tend not to wear denim on denim, but dark denim makes me more willing to do so. I’m doing that here and breaking up all the denim with a mint top. I’m then echoing the mint with a pair of earring in a similar color.

 

 

 

 

4 Shades of Green

Here I’m wearing 4 shades of green but breaking up what would have been a monochrome look with a pair of dark jeans. If you’re not a fan of monochrome outfits, you could always create a look that is almost monochrome, but add one piece in another color.

 

 

 

 

Floral Dress

Due to the light color of the dress, I thought it worked well with light lace tights and a light belt and shoes. I then echo the warm tones in these pieces with a brown jacket.

 

 

 

 

Almost Monochrome Black

This is another almost monochrome outfit, but this time it’s black. I’m adding a pop of color though, with a coral blazer.

 

 

 

 

Red, Grey and Shearling

Red is a bright color so a neutral like grey is a good way to tone it down. Here I’m doing just that with my red skirt and grey top and boots and finishing the look off with a cozy shearling jacket.

 

 

 

 

Red and Black

This is a comfy outfit perfect for a hike. The red print on the graphic tee is echoed by all the other red pieces.

 

 

 

Mustard and Black

I like the how the rich warm tones of mustard look against black which is why I created this mustard and black outfit.

 

 

 

Pop of Emerald

The emerald sweater adds a bit of color to what would have been a monochrome black outfit.

 

 

 

Monochrome Gold

This is another monochrome look, but this time monochrome gold. I find that this is a more unusual combination, but a great one if you want a fall-toned outfit.

 

 

 

 

Florals and Lace

This outfit is warmer climates. Here the red in the floral print of the top is echoed by the red boots and the rest of the outfit is kept neutral with a denim skirt and lace tights for some more texture.

 

 

 

 

Dress and Knit

Wearing a warm cozy knit over your summer dresses is a great way to wear them in the colder season. In this case I’m doing just that by pairing my polka dot dress with a lilac sweater. I dressed the look up a bit with a long necklace and finished it off with dark boots to match the dark colors in the outfit.

 

 

 

Rust and White

The rust cardigan in this outfit certainly stands out because it’s the brightest piece. I like during intense colors because it helps them stand out. In this case I’m pairing my cardigan with a top that has a lot of white and white pants.

 

 

 

Everyday Sequins

Sequins might seem like they are too dressy for everyday wear, but I enjoy doing just that. So here I’m dressing down my sequin top by pairing it with plaid pants and a more casual blazer. I finish off the look by adding a pair of black boots to make a monochrome black outfit.

 

 

 

 

Statement Skirt and Simple Top

This statement skirt makes an even bigger statement than the ones in the previous outfits because it’s longer so there’s more fabric. Because of this, I’m pairing it with a simpler black turtleneck and adding a little bit of drama by wearing a white statement necklace to match the white in the skirt.

 

 

 

 

Monochrome Black

This is a monochrome black outfit. To put it together, I paired my black dress with a pair of black ankle boots and a black blazer. I then added a statement necklace to add a bit more drama to the outfit.

 

 

 

Dressed up Hoody

I find that the simplest is to dress up a casual hoody is by pairing it with a pair of color jeans. Color denim makes an outfit a bit more unexpected and dresses it up a bit. Here I’m doing that by pairing my hoody with a pair of burgundy jeans and finishing off the look by matching the gray in the hoody with a pair of gray boots.

 

 

 

 

White and Olive

I found that olive is a great neutral and works with pretty much any other color. Here I’m wearing my olive pants with mostly white pieces. That includes a light leopard, white jacket and white legwarmers.
