Hint of Spice: Sheer Floral Top and Faux Leather Leggings

To be honest, this top reminds me a bit of lingerie. It’s not a very strong similarity, but there’s just something about the sheer fabric and the loose flowing cut that makes me think of lacey things I may or may not wear for an at-home date night. I don’t mind though. If anything I like the slight nod in the naughty direction so much that I also have this top in a light lavender/pink color that I’m sure you’ll end up seeing on this blog at some point.

Overall, as outerwear this top is pretty innocent and feminine. The bell sleeves are always a romantic touch and the floral pattern is quite delicate. This is one of these pieces that I love to toughen up with a bit of faux leather (leggings in this case). The leggings give what otherwise would have been an incredibly girly look just a hint of spice.
