We’ve almost reached fall so now seems like a good time to share some wearable trends for the fall and winter seasons. This video is going to be about the top 10 wearable fashion trends for the fall and winter seasons (2020-2021). As usual, I’m going to talk about the trend and give an example of an outfit.

Riding Boots
Riding boots are great semi-casual boots. They work well for everyday wear and can also be worn with a dressier outfit. If you have a pair in black, it’s always nice to work them into a black and white outfit which is a classic.
Plaid Blazers and Coats
A plaid blazer can be worn both to the office and for a more casual day. It’s a great way to warm up a lighter summer dress like a silver slip dress. Add boots and you’re ready for a crisp fall day.
Blue worn with Brown or Beige
Sometimes it’s nice to add a pop of color to your neutrals and combining brown and blue is a good example of that. Brown, being a neutral, works with just about anything.
Shearling
Shearling is always nice to wear when the weather cools down. There’s just something so comforting about snuggling up in a fuzzy shearling jacket. It’s a great option to throw over an outfit to warm it up without overwhelming it.
Black Leather
A black leather skirt is not an item that everyone’s a fan of, but it’s still pretty versatile since black is a neutral. You can always wear it with a cozy knit and a pair of over-the-knee boots to create a cozy outfit.
Beige
Beige is a great neutral. It’s a nice alternative to brown and black and can be a great addition to a wardrobe with mostly dark pieces without compromising versatility.
Caramel
I actually love caramel (the food), but I think the color is great too! It’s especially nice in the fall if you want to channel fall colors with your outfits.
Monochrome Neutrals (Beige, Sand, Caramel, etc)
A monochrome outfit is always easy to put together and it always works well. A monochrome neutral outfit has the added benefit of being easier to put together than a brighter monochrome look since you’re more likely to have a wider variety of neutrals in your wardrobe.
Plaid (skirts, shirts, pants, etc)
Plaid in the form of pants or shirts is a great option for a casual outfit. You definitely don’t have to wear plaid on the top and bottom like I’m doing here since just adding a plaid shirt over a jeans and tee outfit will already make it look edgier.
Lots of Black (dresses, monochrome, etc)
Black is a great option for a more dramatic neutral, but it still works with everything. A monochrome black look is particularly elegant yet edgy (especially if you add a leather jacket on top of it).
Thank you for reading/watching. Be you. Always.

September 11, 2020 at 9:37 pmThese are all fantastic outfits. You always put together wearable but very original and interesting combos. I like how you explained how to wear different trends this Fall/Winter. I definitely plan to reach for tartan items, they are a classic for me. Black can be very elegant too. My fav outfit here is the one with the tartan blazer- so elegant and pretty. I also really like the all black outfit. The details on the black dress are so pretty. Fab OTK boots btw.

September 11, 2020 at 10:08 pmI really like your monochrome neutrals outfit! I didn’t get a checked blazer last year but I do really want one! I have found that I haven’t worn my blazers at all since I haven’t been in the office though so that’s something I need to work on more I think, before it heats up too much here (as we are in spring!)
Hope you have a great weekend ahead of you 🙂
