I enjoy wearing sheer items and tops in particular since they are the easiest way to incorporate sheer fabric into your look. When wearing sheer items, you can either show off their see-through nature by showing more skin which is the sexier route and the one I often take when the weather permits. Or you can wear a piece that is meant to be visible underneath (in a complimentary color for a more elegant look or in a contrasting one for a wilder one). I chose the former since the weather did permit for it and am wearing a black crop top underneath my sheer blouse.

I’ve always liked this top and have worn it quite a few times since I got it. I love the rust color, the paisley print and the lace-up details. They all combine to make a feminine yet edgy piece. It was fairly warm so I continued the partial display of skin by wearing shorts paired with lace tights and over-the-knee boots (my feet are always cold and I felt the sheer top and shorts were enough for the moment).
