I love large sleeves in my tops and dresses. It doesn’t matter whether they’re gathered or loose and flared, I love them all. Something about the look feels a bit medieval to me and as a lover of high fantasy, this is a time period that I romanticize quite a bit in my head. I know of course that the reality of it was quite different (especially for the general population), but there is still a lot about that time period that appeals to me.

The top I’m wearing is like a combination of the romantic due to the voluminous sleeves and the practical and even somewhat professional due to the button-up style. The print follows a more romantic path with its vines and flowers. The rest of my black and white outfit is there to echo the colors of the top and provide a background for it as the main player.
