I realize that most people have already pulled out their summer clothes, but it’s still rather chilly here so I have yet to pack away my sweaters. I recently wore a pair of velvet leggings here and that post was also on the dressier side. I repeat the vibe.

The necklace I’m wearing is a statement necklace, no doubt about it. It’s quite large and it requires a whole lot of attention when worn so I let it be the focus (at least of the upper half of my outfit). I love the blue slightly iridescent coloring and the shape reminiscent of flowers or crystal. It’s pretty and it’s bright and can make an outfit out of the simplest look all by itself. I had to pair it with something that feels just as luxurious on the bottom which is where the velvet leggings came in. The top half remains simple with a loose mint sweater and lets the necklace speak for itself.
