Oh boy, I got so caught up in other things, I completely missed the six month anniversary of this blog a few weeks back. I can’t believe that it’s already been six months. To everyone who’s reading this, I can’t tell you how much it means to me that you’re all here. It makes my day! Truly! I love reading your comments and I’m so grateful to all of you.

I can’t say that it’s been an easy journey which is why I’m even happier to be here writing this. I’ve always been really shy and yet I wanted to start a blog for years before I actually managed to gather the courage to do so. I kept putting it off thinking that I would get laughed at, but things are great and I’m thrilled to be doing this although I still have to battle my shyness every time I write a post and every time I hit that post button. But it’s getting easier and that’s mostly thanks to all my amazing readers and to the support of my family.

Almost as an aside, this is another warm look with a tan crushed velvet top layered under a plaid shirt and a faux fur vest. I echoed the brown tones with brown boots and the blue jeans keep it casual.
