This time I’m sharing a video with 10 fall trends. After some feedback from my family, I’m trying out yet another editing style where I try to be brief and give all the information as quickly as possible without extra details. I feel like something just wasn’t quite right with the previous style of videos and they were taking me close to 40 hours to create so I thought I should try out a different style. Let me know what you think and which style of videos you like better.
I have to say I’m really happy with the fall trends this year. I’m actually planning another video/post about them soon so stay tuned for that.

Dark Florals
Dark and moody florals is one of my favorite types of prints. I’ve always loved wearing it and I’m excited to keep doing it this season. Since it’s on trend, I might even be able to pick up a new favorite.
One of the easiest ways to wear dark florals is as a dress. Here I’m doing just that and pairing it with lace tights for more texture. I then complete the look with a pink pair of earrings to match one of the colors in the print and a pair of black sneakers to keep it casual.
Some similar items:
Shades of Purple
Shades of purple from dark plum to light lilac are another fall trend. For milder weather, a purple top (like my purple tee) goes well with a pair of light denim with a neutral pair of shoes (black in my case) to complete the look. A blazer or denim jacket can be worn on top for cooler days.
Some similar items:
Fleece
Warm and cozy fleece is great to wear for colder casual days and is a trend this season. This is an outfit I wore for a hike during my trip to Algonquin recently (it’s quite a bit colder there on most days). Here I paired my red fleece sweater (that I stole from my mom) with red leggings and a black graphic tee. Black sneakers keep the comfy vibe going.
Some similar items:
Shades of Green
Shades of green from light pistachio to emerald and darker olive tones (one of my favorites) are big this fall. I’ve recently discovered olive for myself (as you can see here, here, here and here) and in this look I’m wearing a dark pair of olive pants with a floral top that has some olive in it. I’m then matching the pink tones in the top with a pair of rose gold sneakers.
Some similar items:
Jewel Tones
Jewel tone from emerald, to turquoise and ruby (the one I chose for this look) are on trend for fall. They are a great way to inject more color into your outfits. In this case I’m wearing a black and white look and letting my ruby skirt be the pop of color.
Some similar items:
Maxi Skirts
Maxi skirts are really comfy and I just want to twirl whenever I wear one. Because of their dressier nature, they can easily be paired with t-shirts without the look getting too casual. A fun pair of shoes like a pair of studded ankle boots makes the look a bit more interesting (and the black shoes match the black skirt). This is also a great look to throw a blazer or denim jacket over for a colder day.
Some similar items:
Utility
Utility was a trend last year and it’s still going strong this year. My personal favorite way to wear the trend is with cargo pants. But since cargo pants are so casual, it’s good to pair them with dressier pieces (unless you’re going for a casual look which is also great). In this case I wore my cargo pants with a metallic gold top and black blazer. I also added a gold belt to match the gold top and black shoes to match the blazer.
Some similar items:
White
White is an unusual trend for fall, but it is still a trend and I’ve actually never shied away from wearing it in the colder months. It’s a great way to lighten up a gloomy day for yourself 🙂 In this case I’m wearing a long white skirt with a snake print top and a cream belt to keep the light color scheme going. I complete the look with a white pearl bracelet to match the white skirt and a pair of snake print shoes to match the top.
Some similar items:
Statement Sleeves
Statement sleeves are another favorite of mine. I’ve always tried to search out pieces that had them in the past, but they’ve actually been on trend for a few years and I’m thrilled because I was able to add several to my collection. One of these pieces was this grey velvet bell sleeve top. I prefer bell sleeves to puffed sleeves (also on trend) because I find them romantic and they give me medieval vibes. In this case I went for a monochrome grey look and paired the more romantic top with grungier pants to toughen up the look. I finished it off with a sparkly pair of shoes for a bit of extra drama.
Some similar items:
Shearling
Shearling is another cozy trend for fall and I’m all for it. This can be a jacket or vest, but in this case I went with a camel jacket thrown over a casual skirt and tee look. A pair of grey over-the-knee boots that match the color of tee complete the look.

September 24, 2019 at 7:31 amSo many beautiful outfits. I really like your black and red hiking styling. Black is a great pairing with floral print, especially for autumn. The outfit with the plaid maxi skirt is very feminine and chic. The one with the white maxi skirt and a purple top is lovely as well. I also like the outfits with the mini skirt. Ripped jeans are also always a cool look! The outfit featuring camo pants is really stylish too.
This video format is really fun. I like how you inserted lettering as well. All of these outfits are great.

September 25, 2019 at 12:12 amThis is making me so excited for fall fashion! You styled all of these trends perfectly. I really love how unique and fun that bell sleeved top is, and that dark floral dress is gorgeous! Also, I like the new editing style! I do really enjoy when you talk about each outfit, but this seems perfect to mix in with the longer videos especially since it saves you time creating the videos.
