I’ve been doing these trend videos every season lately and so I thought it was time to make the spring version. So this video is about my 10 favorite trends for spring 2021.

Long tunics
I like to wear long tunics with leggings since I don’t feel super comfortable wearing leggings with a shorter top. A long tunic doesn’t cover up too much of the leggings, but still offers some coverage.
Trumpet sleeves
Trumpet sleeves are one of my favorite sleeve types. My suggestion for styling these is to just ignore the sleeve and wear the item as if the sleeves were normal since they don’t really add that much drama unless we’re talking about a very long sleeve style.
Long sleeve dresses
A long sleeve dress is a great option for spring since they’re warmer than short sleeve dresses, but are still super easy to style since they’re an instant outfit.
Leather pants
Leather pants are a great alternative to jeans (especially a pair in a neutral color).
Pastels
If you want to make your pastels look a bit more dramatic, you can always wear them with darker colors.
Buttery colors
Buttery colors are one of the most wearable trends I mention here since they work with pretty much any other color or pattern.
Puff sleeves
I wasn’t a big fan of puff sleeves when this trend first resurfaced, but they really grew on me when I actually tried them out for myself. Now I think they add just a bit of extra spice to an item so they’re a great way to make your outfit more interesting.
Cutouts
Cutouts are great for spring since they allow you to bare a bit of skin without exposing too much of yourself to the elements (since the weather tends to warm up, but not to the point of summer heat).
Leather skirts
If you’re wearing a bright leather skirt, you can always keep the rest of your outfit neutral to let the skirt be the statement piece.
Velvet dresses
A great way to warm up a short sleeve velvet dress is to pair it with boots and layer a turtleneck underneath.
Thank you for reading/watching. Be you. Always.

January 16, 2021 at 5:04 amI love your puff sleeve outfit, that’s such a pretty maxi skirt to pair with your top! I wish I could make the statement sleeve trend work for me, that cream top is so lovely on you, but with constantly making snacks for and cleaning up leftovers from the kids they are not practical for life right now, haha!
Hope that you are having a nice weekend! We went up to the rainforest for a walk and picnic yesterday, it was awesome 🙂
