It’s been a while and I hope your year is off to a good start.

 

This journal setup is a bit unusual for me because for the first time, I’m actually setting up a 5 year journal. I discovered this type of journaling only a few days ago and I couldn’t wait to get started so here is the result. I go over this more in the video, but basically a one line a day journal is one where each page is divided into 5 sections, one for each year that all correspond to the same date. So when you’ve finished filling out one or more years, you can see what you did on the same day several years ago.

First spread

I went for a simple black and gold theme here because I wasn’t sure what I would like 5 years from now so I wanted to keep things as minimal as possible (minimal by my standards that is :)).

 

 

 

Index/January title page

This isn’t really a usual spread for this type of journal, but I like title pages so I wanted to add it in. I kept things pretty simple and added a polar bear photo to go with the theme of this winter month.

 

 

 

Daily spreads

These are all the variations of the daily spreads I set up for January. I separated the years in different shades of blue and added a bit of washi tape at the top to make things a bit more interesting.
