But I’ve always loved the trend and I’ve been inspired to wear it even more this year now that I see so many people styling it in so many beautiful ways. I realize that it might be quite a bit warmer where you’re located, so an easy way to transform both looks is to take off the top layer.

With Black and Gold

Leopard is already made up of neutral warm colors so a natural pairing is with black and gold. Black works because it echoes the black in the print and gold works because it goes together well with the beige tones in leopard.

With Plaid and a Blazer

Plaid has a way of going with everything and dressing down outfits. Since I wanted this look to be less casual though, I added a black blazer which works in the exact opposite way to plaid by dressing things up. This produced a nice balance and allowed the look to still be on the dressier side since the final component (the tulle skirt) is definitely a dressier piece. It’s all about the math here 🙂
