I’m writing this in the middle of the night a few hours before I leave for the airport. I’ve mentioned that I’m having some issues with my health that weaken me and mean that I just can’t get as much done in a day as I would like. But it’s actually been getting worse in the last half of a year or so. My husband thought that we both needed to get away, and while I at first thought that we’re both too busy to do this, I now think that it’s exactly what we need – to be away somewhere we don’t have to worry about anything except each other. It was a last minute trip and we’ll be gone for just over a week so I’ll be missing some posts. I did want to share this last post before I go though so you know what’s going on. And to share this Easter-inspired mani since I’ll be gone during Easter.

Now onto the mani; when I pulled out my crackle effect polish for this mani, I remembered how much I enjoy using them and started looking for other polishes to use as a base. I ran across this pastel yellow color and thought pairing it with a white crackle polish would create an effect similar to a cracked egg-shell. Then I realized that it’s going to be Easter soon and this bunny egg-shell mani was born.
