The neon pink sweater is a purchase from earlier this year, but neon is a trend I knew I would actually wear. I’ve owned several neon items over the years and have actually worn them down to the point that I had to retire them. If neon is not your thing, I wouldn’t suggest investing in this trend since it’s a bit more out there and is definitely not for everyone. It just happens to be one that I’ve always been on board with (even when it wasn’t a trend).
I styled the pink sweater with a purple pleated skirt and while I liked the color combination, the result was a little too girly for my mood that day. When this happens a great way to add some edge is with a faux leather jacket (black in particular works really well here). It wasn’t quite enough in this case so I also added a pair of studded boots.

The sweater comes of reddish in photos, and I like to see both red and pink worn with purple. What else? The boots and the leather jacket give this look an edgy vibe I really love. You look fantastic.
As for the neon trend, I like it but I don’t think I’ll invest into it. Maybe I’ll pick a pair of neon accessories or something like that.

Neon is not my vibe !! I think only one detail on sportswear I was able to wear, I think I’m no longer a teenager to wear these colors, I think I’m being prejudiced, but I honestly don’t like to see me, but I like to see in others.
