This color is a warmer and darker green than emerald shades. Moss green is another good name for it and as far as I’m concerned, it can pretty much be used as a neutral that is on par with navy and brown shades. Because of this property, it’s a great trend to invest in if you like the color. In fact, I don’t think there’s a single top or sweater in my closet that the olive green pants I’m wearing wouldn’t pair well with. One of my recent favorite pairings was with red. I chose a cropped bright red sweater since the pants are high-waisted and kept the red theme going with a red jacket and boots.

P.S. My husband and I actually discovered that he’s been a bit color blind for his entire life in his late 20’s. He looked at the title of my post and the photos and said “but your pants are brown!”

Hope that your weekend is off to a great start! The cyclone that may have impacted us has moved further offshore which is good news, but we will still have a quiet weekend in case it comes back!

How interesting that your blog post made your husband realize he is colour blind. In Croatia we have two fashion designers that are colour blind…and their collections are very colourful.
