Festive Swarovski Black and White French Nails

These are the nails that went with the New Year’s dress from this post. They’ve held up surprisingly well actually and barring the few crystals I’ve had to replace, they’re still in really good condition. I’ve currently had them on for over a week. I find that’s often the case with white nails, but the polish I used this time appears to have especially good lasting power so if you’re looking for a white nail polish, I recommend this one.

I can think of three ways to make your nails more festive. The first is with glitter, like in the manicure I shared in one of my holiday posts here. The second is with larger nail jewelry. And the third is with Swarovski crystals. The last is my favorite and I have a small collection of Swarovski flatback crystals just for this purpose. What better way to meet the New Year than with a sparkly mani? I’ve mentioned this before, but these must be applied with nail glue and should not be covered with topcoat since that will severely dampen the shine. Have you ever worn Swarovski crystals on your nails?

Thank you for reading. Be Kind. Be you.

P.S. I know I’ve gotten requests for a nail tutorial and I am working on several posts that start from the basics and work up. They are coming, I just need to figure out the best way to take photos for them without natural light (which is in short supply at home). If you guys have any suggestions, that would be great 🙂
