I took advantage of the fact that I don’t need to type long reports for a little while to grow my nails longer than usual. I’m still uncertain about whether I like the look of longer nails on myself and they’re definitely a little less comfortable than shorter ones but I have to say that I’m really enjoying all the extra space I now have for nail art. I think it’s a compromise we go for a lot of the time where we balance out our own comfort with our style. Sometimes they coincide perfectly, but at other times we wear things that we love the look of, but may not love the feel of quite as much. The emotional enjoyment is worth a bit of physical discomfort sometimes…at least for me, what do you think?
