Fall weather if fickle. One day it’s cold and the next it’s warm. It’s freezing when you leave in the morning, but by the afternoon you find yourself peeling off layers. Short sleeve looks are great for this time of year because they’re easy to cover up with a blazer of cardigan if it gets chilly, but work great without it too.

 

Monochrome Gothic

The weather is moody, so this is a moody look. It wasn’t my intention to pick up gothic vibes in this look, but I’m pleased that it happened. Monochrome black is always chic no matter what the vibe of the look it.

High-Low Skirt

A high-low skirt works really well with tights and boots. It’s a more unexpected pairing than having the same set with just a short skirt. It allows for the romance of a long skirt and fun-factor of a short one. Choosing one in a dark color works well for fall.

Burgundy and Denim

Blue jeans are always easy to style. You can pretty much pair anything with them and dress them up or down. Burgundy is often considered a fall color so a perfect way to style your blue jeans in the fall is with burgundy pieces.
