Since this is the last official day of summer, I thought a good way to say goodbye to the season is with some of my classic summer looks. If you live in a place that is currently warm, then looks like these will apply to you for a while longer.

Dresses

Dresses are a classic summer look although I like to wear them year-round. There are certain ways to style them that are only really appropriate for warmer weather. One such way is with a lace cardigan. It’s a great way to add some pattern to an otherwise monochrome dress.

Summer Hiking

A great hiking look is one that is comfy. A stretchy pair of jeans and a graphic tee are the perfect combination and is a very common look for me when traversing forest paths or climbing hilly regions. A plaid shirt tied at the waist gives the outfit a bit more texture.

This is another comfy look that doesn’t sacrifice style. A pair of leggings with a pretty pattern always looks great with a long monochrome tee and combat boots.
