Instagram Round Up: 3 Ways to Wear Prints

As a Dress

This is really the easiest way to wear a print since the dress does all the work for you. If you do want to accessorize your dress though, you can always add a denim vest.

Mixing Two Neutral Prints

A more challenging way to tackle prints is by mixing them, but this path too can be simplified by wearing two neutral prints together. Since they’re both neutral, they won’t fight for attention as much as a more standout set would.

Mixing Two Statement Prints

This is the most difficult way to wear prints. Since neither print is a neutral, they both fight for attention and things have the potential to get messy. A great way to solve this problem is by choosing prints that share a color between them (or more than one). Here I have a smaller  orange/white floral print on a navy background on my top and a larger white print on an orange background on my skirt. Their common denominators are orange and white and they bring the look together.
