I realized I haven’t done a truly shimmery manicure for a while and decided to create one where I would let the shimmer shine (as you can see, I have such a varied vocabulary). Of course just shiny shimmer wasn’t interesting enough and there are few patterns that can work well over such a bright color. This black paisley/geometric one was such a pattern since the pink shimmer is just light enough to contrast nicely against the black with neither overpowering the other. In other words, they let each other shine. Isn’t that what a good relationship should be? 🙂
