I knew as soon as I saw this wrap skirt that I needed to have it. It matched my style perfectly despite not being the easiest piece to style. I like incorporating it into a look with a rock-n-roll vibe like the one I’m wearing here. The black velvet top is a nice neutral way to add more texture to the look and the hooded red-toned plaid shirt adds more pattern and contrast. A faux black leather jacket is always a great addition and it was a chilly day after all.
At first I thought the wind was going to bother me. There were quite a few funny photos where my hair completely covered my face or looked like it was standing straight up, but in the end, it turned out to be the perfect day to take photos of this particular look. I just loved the way the skirt blew in the wind. It’s pretty on a calm day too of course, but I love the fact that the wrap design allows this skirt the freedom to move.
Thank you for reading. Be kind. Be you.
If it speaks to you, I’m wearing:
Floral wrap skirt, similar here and here
Black velvet top, similar here and here
Plaid shirt, similar here and here
