I knew I wanted to use the black and white leaf decals as soon as I pulled them out. I love leaf patterns and the black and white version seemed both elegant and bold. I also knew I wanted something a bit more interesting than the simple lace version I did recently (here). To start off, I needed a background that would work with both black and white so nothing too dark, but nothing too bright so the colors would still pop. Enter this mossy blue-grey polish. This is one of these really wearable shades that go with any outfit and yet is interesting enough to intrigue. I highly recommend owning at least one shade like that (doesn’t have to be this one or even a similar color, but it’s great to have a neutral shade that is anything but boring). In this case, paring mine with black and white leaf decals was just what I wanted. I added a bit of glitter to my pinkie to make things a bit more fun and mirrored the colors of the decals on opposite hands.
Thank you for reading. Be kind. Be you.
