Eggs and Bunnies: Eggs and Bunnies Decals with Shimmery Golden Cream Polish Nails

I didn’t really do much for Easter since everyone just happened to be really busy, but I did do these nails to get into the spirit just a bit. Bunnies and eggs are on the cute side of the holiday and these are the elements I incorporated into this manicure. I ordered these decals a few months back because the pretty eggs and bunnies made out of flowers caught my eye. I thought it was an unusual spin on the theme. This is actually the first Easter-themed manicure I’ve ever done and I like the look so I think I’ll probably do something similar next year.

I paired the decals with a cream polish with light gold shimmer. This shade is actually a favorite of mine, but I’ve learned the hard way that unless I want it to be transparent, this needs a base to layer over because getting it to be opaque on the nail requires around six coats and more time and patience than I possess. Just in case you own a nail polish shade that is too sheer to be worn on its own (unless you’re going for a sheer look), layering it over a more opaque color is a great way to get around this hurdle. The rest of the nails are knit decals.
