Here are the white jeans again and the velvet over-the-knee boots I absolutely love (last worn here and here). I’m actually still surprised by how often I manage to wear them. I never realized purple was such a versatile color. I suppose it helps that they’re a grayed out purple though, which makes them a bit more neutral. This just goes to show that what may originally seem like a statement piece you’ll rarely wear, can actually end up being a staple. The white and purple make for a fun combination and the velvet boots really stand out against the white background of the jeans as does the violet sweater. For a toned down look, this would have been enough, but I rarely go for toned down looks so I echoed the white with the floral scarf, bringing quite a bit more life and color to the outfit.
