I hope you’re doing well. This post/video is on how to wear leather (or faux leather as that’s what more of my items are). I actually filmed this video back in the fall, but the outfits work well for this time of year too.

Leather pants
Leather pants are a great alternative to jeans and they make your outfit look like you put in more effort. I like to wear leather pants with a softer top to create a bit of contrast.
Leather leggings
Leather leggings are almost as wearable as leather pants, but they’re definitely more comfortable. I tend to wear my leggings with longer tops to give myself a bit more coverage.
Brown leather skirt
A leather skirt in a neutral color like brown or black is a great alternative to a denim skirt. It works well in both casual and slightly dressier outfits.
Red leather skirt
A bright leather skirt is definitely a statement piece so an easy way to wear one is to pair it with neutrals and let it stand out from the rest of the outfit.
Leather shorts
Leather shorts are definitely a bit tougher to style (at least for me), but I tend to wear them in the same way I would a leather skirt.
Black leather jacket
A black leather jacket is a classic piece and can be thrown over any outfit to add a bit of warmth and make it more edgy.
White leather jacket
A white leather jacket is just as wearable as a black one, but it might work better for you if you gravitate more towards lighter colored clothes.
Red leather jacket
A red leather jacket is a statement piece, but a good way to wear a colorful jacket is to match it to one of the colors in your outfit. You could also wear it with a neutral outfit and let it be the pop of color.
Leather boots
I wear boots more than any other type of shoe so leather boots are a must for me. I like to wear tall ones with dresses or skirts to make them more appropriate for the colder seasons and allow me to get more use out of my wardrobe.
Leather inserts
Leather inserts in clothing pieces definitely make the item more edgy and more casual than its leather-free counterpart. You probably don’t want to wear an item like that for a more formal occasion, but it’s great for a casual outfit.
Thank you for reading/watching. Be you. Always.

February 15, 2021 at 3:09 amYou have so many great leather pieces! 🙂 I always want to expand my leather jacket selection in winter – I just have black and blue ones! but it’s only winter for such a short time before leather jackets are too warm to wear here 🙁
Hope you had a good weekend 🙂
