I hope you’re well and that you’re having a good month. Here I show you my June bullet journal setup and my weekly spreads for the month. It might seem a bit early to start setting up for June, but I missed May entirely due to moving so I wanted to get a head start on June J

This is my first spread for June. It’s actually one of my favorite spreads so far. Here I went with a more neutral color scheme with some touches of gold for a bit of extra sparkle. In my journal with me video, you can actually see that I originally glued in the calendar for the wrong month, so I had to go back and glue the June calendar over it.

 

 

 

 

This is my goals/review page for June. I went with cherry blossom washi tape because that’s about the time cherry blossom trees are blooming here and since I won’t get to see them in person due to quarantine, I thought it would be nice to at least have them in my journal. I created a little collage of pink and black and white pictures to match the pink washi tape.

 

 

 

 

I was really proud of myself for this spread despite how simple it was. It might even be my favorite spread of the month. I really like the idea of putting the two cherry blossom tree images together as a sort of abstract reflection collage with some silver stars to give it a more ethereal look.

 

 

 

 

This was the first spread where I decided to start gluing things down without arranging everything the way I like it first. I like the result and I’m not sure I would have come up with this spread if I hadn’t decided to just go with it. I added gold stars to the black paper to match the gold in the washi tape.

 

 

 

 

This is definitely one of my favorite spreads this month. It’s a little busy, but in this case, I actually like that there’s a lot going on. I used a pretty spring quote since most of June falls during spring. I also used a ripped piece of scrapbooking paper with florals to match the floral themed quote and added vintage-themed stickers to spice things up a bit.

 

 

 

 

 

I started this spread with the quote and decided to go for a pink and black theme since pink is a very delicate color and I wanted to make the spread a bit more dramatic (only marginally of course, since it’s still very floral). I added some stars is silver and black to add a bit more sparkle to the spread. I also used pink washi tape to write the days of the week to make them more interesting.

 

 

 

 

I’m not going to lie; this is my least favorite spread of the month. It didn’t quite go according to plan, but I still liked it well-enough.

 

 

 

This is another spread where I decided to just go for it and start gluing things down as I go. Again, I actually really liked how it came together so I might have to start doing that more often. This was actually my first time writing the days of the week on Kraft paper and I really liked the scrapbook feel it gave the spread. I ended up with a pink, red and brown theme that I actually really enjoyed.

 

 

 

 

 

This is another spread where I used kraft paper quite a bit and again, I really liked the scrapbook/vintage feeling it created. That little piece of kraft paper with pink vines over it actually marker the first time in years that I picked up a paintbrush (it was a strange feeling J) so I was happy I ended up using it. I also added a bit of kraft paper behind my floral scrapbooking paper to match the rest of the spread.

 

 

 

 

 

This was my last spread for June and I was getting tired since I was already working on my setup for days so I went with a simpler spread with a pink and green theme. I placed the butterflies where I did because I wanted to make them look like they were flying towards the top right corner. The top right corner was looking a bit empty so I added a flower and called it a day.
