So I’ve actually moved. it wasn’t really planned and definitely wasn’t an ideal time to move, but by the time coronavirus really got going, we’d already put down the cleaning deposit, paid for the first and last month of rent and notified our current landlord so we were stuck. Things seemed to have gone smoothly enough though and we’re currently in the new place.

In any case, that was a long introduction as to why I’m posting April spreads now. I figured some of them were still sufficiently spring-themed.

You can definitely see that this was done in April because of all the eggs. I still like the black and gold theme though.

I’ve been stressing out a lot lately (and in the last few years in general) so I thought a reminder to relax was a good idea 🙂 I also love the spring quote. It tends to be very true here and we’re expecting more snow this weekend.

I thought the copper and peach elements helped to brighten up the dark bunny picture, while keeping everything warm-toned.

For this spread, I knew I wanted the bunny, but because it’s black and white, I decided to add some color with a piece of torn scrapbook paper. I tried to match the lettering colors to the colors in the rest of the spread. Finally, I matched the blue tones in the florals at the bottom with another blue flower at the top.
