I’ve never been a big fan of autumn, but it’s an undeniably beautiful season with much to enjoy so I’m trying to be more positive about it this year. In the spirit of that, I bring you an autumn nail tutorial. I find having seasonal nails always helps me get into the seasonal spirit and autumn is a time when I need to get into the spirit even more than usual since it comes right after summer is over.
Video
For this manicure, I actually started with the bright nail polish and then started going through my collection of decals to see what would work. I stumbled onto these autumn decals and thought that the berry color of some of them went really well the berry polish. The last step was figuring out what base I would use for the decals since the berry polish was too bright for the task. White worked, but I liked the softer look the cream polish created.
Thank you for reading/watching. Be you. Always.
P.S. I mention this in my video, but I’m actually going to be away on a trip my parents invited me on when this goes live and for the next few as well. I did create posts and videos in advance that are scheduled to go up every Friday like always.
P.P.S. Also, for those of you who saw my Instagram post, this won’t come as a shock, but I’ve been a lot less responsive lately for two reasons. The first of these is that my health has taken a turn for the worst, with a very unpleasant allergic reaction for almost a month now, coupled with a month-long constant never-ending headache that ranges from annoying to migraine-level pain. Needless to say, this makes everything a lot more difficult and me a lot slower. I’ve simply been running out of time. The second reason is that I’ve been trying to create the videos and posts that will go up while I’m going to be away in advance and it’s taken a lot of time on top of pre-writing any and all assignments that are due during that time.
Hopefully the trip will be what I need to feel better and I’ll be able to start getting back to my normal self and my normal routine when I get back. I hope you have a wonderful month 🙂
