Pleated skirts are classics in the world of feminine style. They are pretty and can be styled in so many different ways starting with casual tees all the way to a pretty blouse for a formal occasion. A great way to style them on a colder day though, is with a cozy knit. This is kind a repeating pattern, but cozy knits just feel so nice to slip into on a cold day so they become a very popular option for me when the temperature is lower than I’d like it to be. If you have a pleated skirt in a neutral or metallic color, you can wear it with a sweater of any color, but if you have a colorful option like the blue one I’m wearing, don’t be afraid to experiment by mixing it with other colors (like green). You never know what combination you might end up liking.

I’m in love with pleated skirts, I have several, here it’s hot, I usually use them with tees. Of course in cold weather the tee has to give place to a knit sweater.
