You may have noticed that I wear a lot of burgundy (like here, here and here). In fact, it’s my favorite color for clothing. White being my favorite color in general (it’s actually a shade according to the rules of color, but it’s still my favorite). One of my wedding dresses was burgundy which should give you a strong indication of just how much I like it. Beyond that though, I think that it’s a color that looks great on just about anyone. It’s rich without being very bright and so is pretty easy to pair with both neutrals and brights. It feels warm in the winter and unexpected in the summer. It can even make a really simple hoody a bit more special and fun especially when paired with leggings that have burgundy flowers and combat boots with burgundy undertones. The fact that this outfit is incredibly comfortable and the cheerful slogan on the back don’t hurt either 🙂
