April 30th marks the 1 year anniversary since my husband and I had our wedding reception (the anniversary we celebrate) and on that note I decided to share a few of our wedding photos with you guys since I was still too shy to share them when I got them back in November. We had our ceremony outside earlier with just close family and friends (not that our reception had a huge number of people) and I remember thinking that it had been the best decision we ever made to split up the two events. Despite over a year of planning, what felt like most of the things that could have possibly gone wrong did go wrong at/before the ceremony. Our reception fared much better with a normal number of mishaps and we joked that we paid for that relative peace with our nerve-wrecking ceremony. Now that I’ve had time to move on and reflect though, my memories of both events are fond and I look at the photos with a smile on my face. Here we go…
