Fire: Fire Polish and White Floral Lace Nails

It’s been a while since my last post or longer than I’d like at least…I’ve actually been in bed since Friday night until today, having caught a nasty flu that’s been floating around here lately. It wasn’t my best week. I couldn’t even eat anything for the first three days. For those of you who have been here for a while and have noticed that I get sick rather more often than the average person, it’s because I have a weak immune system so I catch things easily and they stick to me better. Anyways, moving away from my misery and onto today’s post…

Fire has always seemed lovely to me and the color of this nail polish reminds me of it. It’s a multichrome, which basically means that it shifts between many different colors. In this case it can be a lovely burnt orange, a darker reddish brown, an oily mustard color and a slightly greenish tint. To me, this feels like orange flames, shifting and changing as if alive. The rest of the manicure had to be simple to really showcase this quality so each hand had 2 nails with a lacey white floral pattern that really popped against the dark base. It was easy but I think it came out rather striking. I caught myself looking at my hands for the first few days and moving my fingers to see the pretty shifts.
