It is definitely getting colder and sunshine can be so deceptive at this time of year (or any time of year really since I’ve seen snowy days that were lit up beautifully while being utterly freezing). It does make for a cheerier mood though when the cold is accompanied not by gloom, but by brightness. So to mark the occasion, I needed a few layers. I was still kind of cold, but I was happy.
Choker tops are really in right now and I always loved cutouts in my clothing so I love this fall trend. No jewelry needed here since the top makes you the accessory to this outfit with its strategic cutout. I’m clearly having some separation issues with summer so I still wore shorts with black lace tights, but at least I had the foresight to wear boots with this combo. Plus white adds a nice contrast to the black top. Because I like the look of a long top with shorts (and for warmth), I threw on a basic chambray shirt.
