This is my 2020 bullet journal setup, which, yes, I am doing in June. I couldn’t find the time to do it earlier, partially because of moving during the pandemic (a bit of a lame excuse, but still).

First Spread
I started with a bunch of scrapbooking paper pieces I had lying around. I then added a bit of forest themed washi tape to tie in with the greenish-blue colors. This tape is actually one of my favorites since I really like forests. I also added a flower sticker to the top right corner to add a bit more to the spread.
2020 Spread
This is the simplest spread out of all the spreads here. I originally created it on the computer and thought I would add something to it later. In the end though, I ended up liking the simplicity in this case and left it as is.
Calendar Spread
This is my calendar spread for 2020. I decorated this spread a bit with some washi tape in purple and turquoise colors.
Goals and Dreams Spread
I’m not a very positive person and this is something I struggle with so I thought that writing down my dreams might help me to focus on the positive. Who knows, maybe some of them might come true 🙂 I used moon themed scrapbooking paper for this spread because I thought it matched the dream theme well. I added a purple flower and some black and gold starry washi tape to add a bit more detail to spread. My final touch was a bit of blue iridescent paint over the headings.
5 and 10 Year Goals Spread
It’s been a while since I’ve written down some long term goals so I thought this spread would be pretty helpful. In terms of decorating, I added a piece of paper that says “dare to dream” to remind me to dream bigger than I might let myself consider otherwise. I decorated this spread with my favorite starry black and gold washi tape. I then matched the black and gold colors by adding black and gold flower stickers and filled in the headings with a gold marker.
Favorite Monthly Memories Spread
I wanted this spread to help me focus on the positive rather than the negative. I started this spread with a piece of scrapbooking paper that says “memories” on it. I decided to make it part of my heading since the rest of the heading is black and white so it added a bit of extra color. I added a moth themed strip of scrapbooking paper on the right in matching colors and a black flower to make it more interesting.
Books Read 1
This is my first books read for 2020 spread. I wanted to use a piece of scrapbooking paper that looks like a library card because it fit the theme so well. I also added a bit of patterned black paper to make the corner more interesting. On the right side of the spread, I added some more black paper and beige brick scrapbooking paper to match the colors in the spread. I finished things off with a large yellow flower, a few pieces of neutral washi tape and my favorite black and gold starry washi.
Books Read 2
This is my second books read spread for 2020. I created two spreads because my handwriting is fairly large and I realized that I’ve already read enough books to fill in one spread like this. And when I say read; I actually often mean listen. While I love to read physical books, I just don’t have as much time to do so as I used to so audiobooks are a close second because I can listen to them as I’m doing something that doesn’t really require my brain. As for the spread itself; I used two pieces of scrapbooking paper that look like library cards. I then used the dark mauve and dark green tone of the cards as the color scheme for this spread. To that effect, I used a dark pink piece of tissue paper and a metallic green marker to write the heading and added some more fantasy and forest themed washi tape in matching colors. My final touch was to add a bit of copper paint for a bit more sparkle.
Reflect and Review Spread
This was the last spread for my 2020 setup. I wanted to add a reflect and review spread because I added so many spreads for goals, dreams, books, etc and I wanted to go over all of them and analyze how well I’ve been doing and what I’ve been reading. I added a cozy themed photo because it felt like it would be good to review the year with a cozy drink. I used peach-orange colored tissue paper to add more color to the spread. The final touch shouldn’t be a surprise since it’s a gold flower and you know I love gold!
Thank you for reading/watching. Be you. Always.
