Birds are an image I really enjoy. I would wear the pattern a lot more in my clothing if I could find suitable items, but alas…This is another French manicure; though this one I drew with a jagged edge to add some visual interest. I also applied foils in a few random areas of the tips and finished it all off with bird decals. I rather like the result and find that the dark colors go well with the foils giving the look a bit more of a festive spirit. Unfortunately by the time I remembered that I have yet to take photos of this manicure it had started to chip a little (sorry). Although it was only a couple of days after I’d painted my nails so that might also have something to do with the navy nail polish itself. I’ll still link to it below, but use at your own peril.
Thank you for reading. Be kind. Be you.
If it speaks to you, I used:
China Glaze Strong Adhesion base coat, here
China Glaze Fast Forward top coat, here
Essie navy nail polish in “Bobbing for Baubles”, here
Foils, I used one of the green oil-in-water foils from the set here
but there is a lovely set that can be used to create a similar look here
Black bird decals, I couldn’t find the exact ones (these were bought locally), but there are similar navy ones here
and black swan decals here

December 22, 2017 at 12:04 pmSuch a cute design. I would love to do something like this with my nails but it looks a little complicated given that I’m not good at painting my nails. Lol! 🙂
Have a wonderful Christmas celebration!
