I’m really gravitating towards red and burgundy lately (usually with some black elements). I’ve always loved the colors (burgundy being my all-time favorite color to wear), but I tend to vary my color schemes more than I currently do. I guess there’s just something about these colors that feels very fall to me and so I reach for them since technically it is still fall.
I usually put together an outfit by rummaging through my clothes until I find a piece that I want to wear at the moment. Then, depending on how basic or wild that piece is, I build the rest of my outfit around it by adding more statement pieces (in the first case) or more basic pieces (in the second). This time I built the outfit around the leggings with a mostly monochrome look. I really enjoy wearing them and they are one of the more unique pairs I own, with their cheetah print that fades into two different types of animal prints (a spotted one and a snakeskin one). They are the statement piece and I built the rest of the outfit out of basics adding a burgundy top and scarf as well as a black trench coat and boots.
