What could be better than spending the day in good company in gorgeous places (both new and previously visited) and topping it all off with your favorite treat? I spent the weekend day by visiting a winery followed by a visit to Niagara Falls and hanging out at my favorite bubble tea place (yum!). I’d never actually been to a winery before and the rows of grapevines with their perfectly round grapes made for a very scenic view.
After a lovely walk at the winery, we continued on to Niagara Falls and caught them after dark. For those who have never been, they are lit up beautifully at night.
Summer appears to be fading away in spurts rather than as a gradual move towards autumn. It was a chilly day, no doubt about it and I needed quite a few layers to keep toasty. To help with that I wore a dramatic black floral wrap skirt with leggings (did I mention I get cold easily?) and my favorite spiked combat boots. Tucked into my skirt, I have on a cowl-neck metallic red top with a wide black belt. All of this is topped off with a hooded red and black plaid shirt and a black vegan leather jacket. I like the dramatic colors and that this outfit has both girly and edgy elements. I also quite a few patterns here, but I really like how the overall look turned out and I think that it works because everything is within the same color scheme. You may have noticed I even used this outfit on my header.
Thank you for reading. Be kind. Be you.
