A quote by Haemin Sunim actually inspired me to write the first post after working on customizing the look of everything for a while. It is from “The Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down: How to Be Calm and Mindful”. The quote is: “do not select your career based on what others will think of your choice … if you think you will enjoy something, then, don’t overthink it, just do it”. With this I realized that I was still holding back and decided to stop overthinking it.

Sometimes, I find a piece of clothing that inspires me all on its’ own. I don’t feel like it really needs accessories to become more me; it already fits my mood for the day. This bright chiffon maxi dress went well with the bright feelings I was having towards what I knew to be one of the last warm days of this year. It made me happy and this dress did as well. With this dress, I wore only shoes, though I probably would have gone barefoot in another world. I felt that this dress was that self-sufficient.
